Happily Raising A Teenager

When we here about teenagers and there hormones and weird behavior it's enough to want to run the opposite direction. I thought the same way but having a teenager has been really fun!

My oldest son is 14 and he is very serious most times. He is strict and responsible. Just the way I need him to be. He has shown me many times he can be himself even in tough moments! I am raising him to be strong! Yes strength is great! I also want to teach him compassion. Sometimes we overlook this trait until when we are adults and we start dating and things get serious.

We begin to see what has been left out and what's needed to have full potential. I want to see what has been left out and what's needed to have full potential. I want to encourage you to teach your children how important it is to keep an open heart. Love when love is blind. Show heartfelt emotions and to no be afraid.

You will be surprised what your child may share with you. My son quoted Bible verses I taught him when in distress. That is how I know God is in his life.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

1 John 4:4
